Intro to Alchemy

Let’s Gather the Materials!

We need to gather materials from three key locations:

• The Mines – for Silver

• The Lumbermill – for Wood & Amanita Mushrooms

• Sifting – for Genesis Seeds

Gardening Time!

Plant your Genesis Seeds and harvest Herb Seeds from them. Then, grow those until you get 2 Wolfsbane Seeds.

Get those Wolfsbane plants growing early. They take time!

Step into the Mines!

Head into the Mines and collect at least 2 Silver.

One full pickaxe's worth of mining should easily cover it!

Visit the Lumbermill!

Go to the Lumbermill (across from the Mines, near Misstivild).

You’ll need:

18 Wood

2 Amanita Mushrooms ( ~4.74% drop chance!)

Water & Fuel

While your Wolfsbane grows:

Use a Bucket to Pan for Sand, smelt it into Glass, and craft a Bottle.  Fill it up with water to water your crops when necessary.

Smelt Wood → Charcoal to prep for upcoming recipes.

Assembly Time!

Make sure you have access to:

Crafting Bench
Furnace
Smoker
Grindstone

Craft: 18 Charcoal → 2 Dense Charcoal

Smelt: 2 Dense Charcoal → 1 Activated Charcoal

Catalyst Creation

Grind: 2 Small Silver Nuggets → 2 Powdered Silver

Craft: Powdered Silver + Activated Charcoal → 1 Tiny Catalyst Shard

Craft: 2 Tiny Catalyst Shards → 1 Small Catalyst Shard

This is the foundation for all potions!

Pastes & Powders

Once your Wolfsbane is ready:

Harvest 2 Wolfsbane

Craft: 2 Wolfsbane → 1 Wolfsbane Powder

Last Ingredient

Craft: 2 Amanita Mushrooms → Crushed Amanita Mushrooms

Craft: Crushed Amanita + Wolfsbane Powder → 1 Fibrous Mixture

The Potion!

Craft these together:

1 Fibrous Mixture

1 Small Catalyst Shard

1 Water Bottle
