The RPDND in-game economy is never going to be perfect but we do make tweaks to different aspects on occassion to make sure its always rotating money in and out so players can still make money and save it but also we can take steps to prevent excessively rich players.
Below I want to attempt to give you some ideas, tips, or suggestions for ways to may money on the server and how different aspects of our economy works.
Associations are a type of quest that can be completed once a week. There are other quests that may be daily but Association quests give players a large sum of money per week allowing you to pay for basic needs without needing to go into more time consuming money making options.
Trade packs require you to gather resources then bundle them up and travel across the map to give them to needy NPCs. The goal with trade packs is to give you a secondary way to make money off gathering resources and being able to sell excess items you do not need.
Provide a Good or Service. This could be: Skin maker, lawyer, crafted goods, pixel art, writer, bar owner, alchemist, carriage driver, etc. The options are endless if you can think outside of the box.
Copper coins are our baseline coin. Meaning everything you see in-game from rent signs, chest shops, and npc shops will be written in copper format. Along with that if you do /balance in game your wealth will also be displayed as copper.
Swap between physical coins (for roleplay or trading with a DM) and virtual currency (for renting, shopping, etc) via the Misstivild Bank.
Exchange Worth:
1 Copper = 1 Copper
1 Silver = 10 Copper
1 Gold = 10 Silver or 100 copper
1 Platinum = 10 gold or 100 silver or 1000 copper
